In this video, you will see a patient only 8 days after her ear surgery. As you can see, otoplasty will lead to very natural results, with a significant improvement in the shape of your ears. The results are immediate and long-lasting.
Our office will give you all of the instructions for after the procedure. At this point you will be wearing a protective head / hair band 24 hours a day. She has removed this for the purposes of the otoplasty video, but did reapply it immediately after the video was taken. Dr. Steiger asks you to strictly adhere to his post-operative instructions so that you can be assured of the best possible otoplasty results.

Hi, it's eight days after my surgery, I'm feeling awesome. It's been a really easy experience actually. I've been taking it easy the last week wearing a head band, making sure to keep my ears really safe.
Overall my routine hasn't changed. I've still been going to the beach, exercising, mildly, and going out with my friends. It's fine and nobody can even tell a difference. It's healing great, looks very natural, and I couldn't be any happier with the results!
I knew it would be a good change but I didn't think it would be this great. So I am really happy that I did it. I would definitely do it again and I definitely recommend this to anybody who is on the border about having their ears fixed. I would do it ten times over.
