Deep Plane Facelift Results- Before and After

The areas targeted by the deep plane facelift include the jowels, the neck, and the midface. In the post operative, before and after photographs , you will notice a dramatic improvement in all of these areas as they are restored to a more natural position.

In a side by side comparison on the front view images, you will notice a significant improvement in her Jowls, Neck, and Mid-Face. No other procedures were performed on her making this an excellent case to exhibit the power of this facelift technique.

You will even notice an improvement in the apperance of her eyes. This enhancement is produced by the restoration of the midface or cheeks to their more youthful position. It makes the lower eyelid appear shorter, as it does in a youthful face. This illustrates the importance of the midface region when performing facial rejuvenation.

It is also important to understand that the goal for facial rejuvenation should not just be about filling a wrinkle here and a fold there. This could be done. But the most dramatic change is the change that you see in the blink of an eye. It's a change in the overall facial shape. I call this inverting the pyramid of youth.

Next we see the side view pictures. This mainly illustrates the significant improvement in her neck. It is important to understand that the technique can be modified depending on the severity of the loose skin and muscles of the neck. Dr. Steiger will determine this during your consultation. Her neck line is restored to a more youthful position.

Finally, we see many of the important changes on the half-way view photos. Notice the improvement of her jaw contour, neck contour, and cheeks. The results look very natural, youthful, and without a surgical appearance.
