The three dimensonal facelift technique combines a vertical facelift with facial fat grafting to produce natural appearing results.
Dr. Steiger's vertical facelift is performed through minimal incisions around the ear. This facelift technique is revolutionary because it lifts the jowel and the neck in a straight vertical direction. In doing so, the jowel and neck are restored to their more youthful and natural locations.
The 3-Dimensional facelift also incorporates facial fat grafting to restore missing volume that is lost with aging. Dr. Steiger recontours the face with fat cells from the patient's own body. Overall, the 3-Dimenisonal facelift produces remarkably natural appearing results.
Dr. Steiger is a facelift specialist who customizes each facelift procedure to the unique needs of his individual patients. Performing the most advanced types of facelifts and facial cosmetic procedures, Dr. Steiger will help you determine the best method for rejuvenating your facial appearance.

Reporter - Three dimensional technology is providing dramatic improvements in all kinds of medical treatments. Now some plastic surgeons are taking a 3-D approach to face-lifts. Local 10 health reporter Christy Krueger shows us how it works.
Reporter - Fifty year old Ellen Schulman works hard at staying in shape and keeping up with her young daughters, but she still can't escape the passing of time.
Patient - I look in the mirror and I think I look older than I really feel, and I'm not totally happy with it.
Reporter - Delray Beach plastic surgeon, Doctor Jacob Steiger told Ellen she was an ideal candidate for what he calls a 3-D facelift.
Dr. Steiger - The traditional nip and tuck point of view is really two dimensional. You are just stretching skin over an already contoured surface, but aging is much more complicated than that. Aging occurs in multiple areas of your face in different ways.
Reporter - Dr. Steiger's 3-D approach starts with a vertical lift to tighten loose ligaments in the lower third of the face.
Dr. Steiger - Most facelifts go this way (pushing skin back) the vertical facelift is just straight up and down.
Reporter - With injections of Ellen's own body fat, the Doctor gave her face a fuller more youthful shape.
Dr. Steiger - In the operating room I actually distille the fat to purify it. That fat is purified into single microscopic cells and it's done in such a way as not to destroy those cells.
Reporter - It did take several weeks for the initial swelling to subside but in the end Ellen says she got the look she wanted.
Patient - Cause I didn't want to look so different that people would go, "Wow what did you have done", you know. And now people, some people, notice that there's something different, but very few people have even said anything because I still look like me.
Reporter - Now the 3-D lift can be done alone or with other along with other treatments or procedures.
