Before Facelift Surgery
She is now eight days after surgery. All of the sutures (stitches) for the face lift are removed on the eighth day. If additional procedures are performed, such as eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty), those sutures are removed at an earlier date. These appointments are arranged for you before surgery. Once the stitches are removed, make-up can be applied to cover any bruising if present.

Patient: Hello! It's me- 8 days post-op. I'm here today to get my stitches removed. It's been a week of a lot of progress everyday. Progress with reduced swelling, reduced pain, every night I'm sleeping better. The biggest reward for me is looking in the mirror to see the results that I did this procedure for.
The deep plane facelift is taking effect, I no longer see the turkey neck, and the lines around my mouth are gone. I'm only encouraged by the next days and weeks ahead to see the ultimate goal of looking prettier. I'm off to work on Monday, it's been an amazing week an exciting week of doing something wonderful for myself.
